Summer Enrichment Classes

Which is better? Learn about elements of both literary superheroes and fairy tale characters and then prepare to debate your case. We will dive into elements of a hero’s journey, characteristics of fairy tales, and then write our own short stories. This integrated class will strengthen reading, writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Become a detective as we learn and explore mathematical and scientific concepts through an historical lens. We will discover the best problem solving methods and tips to solve even the toughest cases.

This writing adventure will focus on the elements of a good story including character and plot development, theme, setting, and point of view. We will also explore how to express yourself through both writing and presentation skills.  During this course be ready to find your voice along with your confidence!

There’s no bones about it! Use your hands as much as your brain to explore and ignite the scientists in your child and set them on a path of exploration and curiosity. This integrated class will incorporate math, science and writing.

Some of the best movies have been adapted from great books such as Because of Winn Dixie, The Lorax, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Come along on a journey through several books turned movies while improving your comprehension and overall reading skills.
