Program Update: Supporting Success with a New Weekly Structure

We’re excited to share a few thoughtful changes to our weekly programming designed to better support our learners and their families.Starting in September, our Monday classes will follow a more structured format to help students ease into the week with greater focus and predictability. Based on feedback from parents—and the growing needs of our learners—we’re implementing a clear schedule with defined activities, smoother transitions, and built-in executive function supports. This change will help set a positive tone for the rest of the week and give kids the tools they need to start strong.

In addition, our Tuesday through Thursday learning pods will have a slightly shortened day, with dismissal now at 12pm. This adjustment is designed to align better with students’ attention patterns and energy levels, ensuring we maximize engagement during core learning hours while giving families more flexibility in the afternoons. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to providing a supportive, responsive learning environment where every child can thrive. As always, we’ll continue to evaluate how things are going and make adjustments as needed.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. If you have any questions about the new schedule, feel free to reach out—we’re here to help!

A Powerful Afternoon of Learning and Connection: Highlights from Our ADHD Parent Seminar

In March, we had the privilege of hosting a dynamic and heartfelt seminar for parents of children with ADHD — and what an afternoon it was! The event brought together parents and caregivers who are walking the same path, seeking to better understand their children’s unique needs and support them with confidence and compassion.

The seminar focused on executive functioning skills, a core challenge for many kids with ADHD. Our expert speakers shared practical strategies for improving organization, time management, emotional regulation, nutrition, and task initiation at home. Attendees learned how to recognize executive function challenges not as willful behavior, but as skills that can be taught and strengthened with the right tools.

Throughout the afternoon, there was a strong sense of community and encouragement. Parents shared personal stories, asked thoughtful questions, and left feeling empowered with actionable tips they could start using immediately.

The energy in the room reminded us why we do this work. When parents feel supported and informed, kids thrive — and that’s what it’s all about.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made the afternoon such a success! Stay tuned for more events and resources to come.

Fresh Look, Fresh Energy: Our Space Just Got an Upgrade!

We’re thrilled to share that our learning space has undergone some incredible renovations—and it looks (and feels) better than ever!

Thanks to the support and vision of First Baptist Midland, we now have access to a brand new kitchen, perfect for hands-on learning, snack prep, and future life skills activities. The kitchen upgrade brings both function and warmth to our space, creating new opportunities for connection and creativity.

The entire space also received a fresh coat of paint and new flooring throughout, giving it a bright, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for focused learning and playful exploration.

These updates aren’t just about appearances—they’re about creating an environment that feels safe, inspiring, and engaging for every student who walks through our doors. We can’t wait for your family to experience it in person!
